The main part of the system was installed until april 2025 and the visitors in the main season 2025 have had very good opportunity to enjoy the new look of this incredible cave in California. Light beneath the Alps
Beneath the Valais Alps, the Lac Souterrain de Saint-Léonard — Europe’s largest underground lake — has found a new light.

Since 2024 and in collaboration with Cave Lighting, this hidden world now reveals its crystal waters and ancient walls with a renewed sense of magic. The new illumination transforms each reflection, each silence, into an experience of wonder.

A project born from passion and respect for nature, carried out together with Cédric Savioz and his team — proving that light, when guided by care, can truly bring places to life.
